Qinghe County, Hebei Province Passes Review of "China Automotive Parts Manufacturing Base"

Recently, an expert group from the China Automobile Industry Association visited our county for a field investigation and unanimously approved the re-examination of Qinghe County as the "China Automobile Parts Manufacturing Base". After several decades of development, the automotive and parts industry in Qinghe County has grown in scale. Through increased investment, variety expansion, enhanced research and development, and promotion of upgrading, the industry has continuously driven itself to grow larger and stronger. Currently, there are 1,583 general taxpayer enterprises in the automotive and parts industry in our county, with over 60,000 employees. The county has further improved the cooperation mechanism of industry-university-research through the establishment of the Automotive and Parts Industry Technology Research Institute and the Automotive and Parts Industry Innovation Alliance. The technological research and development capabilities have been continuously enhanced, promoting the development of the automotive and parts industry in the county from the low-end to the high-end. Currently, the county has 4 well-known Chinese trademarks, 18 famous trademarks at the provincial level, and 9 well-known trademarks at the municipal level. There are over 20 enterprises with sales exceeding 100 million yuan in the automotive and parts industry, and more than 200 enterprises have achieved first-level and second-level supply cooperation with domestic vehicle manufacturers. In 2012, Qinghe County was awarded the title of "China Automobile Parts Manufacturing Base", and it has been holding this title for 10 years. According to the relevant document of the China Automobile Industry Association, "Measures for the Management of China Automobile (Motorcycle) Parts Manufacturing Base and Characteristic Base", the base is required to undergo re-examination every three years. The re-examination was conducted once in 2018, and it will be re-examined again this year. From November 1st to 5th, the evaluation experts conducted a re-examination of the automotive and parts industry in Qinghe County based on the relevant document. The expert group believed that the county has closely focused on the development of enterprises, continuously improved service awareness and work level, actively guided enterprises to expand sales channels, emphasized scientific and technological innovation and talent cultivation, fully implemented preferential policies and vigorously supported key projects, and unanimously passed the re-examination. The expert inspection team expressed their affirmation of the development of the auto parts industry in our county. At the same time, they provided valuable opinions and suggestions. The local government should strengthen planning guidance, strengthen technological innovation, pay attention to talent cultivation, attach importance to safety production. Industry organizations should strengthen communication and exchanges with higher authorities, listen to the demands of enterprises, and provide strategies for development. Enterprises should establish a sense of crisis, transform their thinking, strengthen meticulous management, and increase the added value of products.
